Models who look like works of art

^^^i'm guessing they modeled the ad after that picture

There was an editorial with kate moss where they reworked old works of art.

And I believe there is a portrait of kate moss in the National Portrait Gallery?

Yep I believe so...
And also one by Lucien Freud which was sold at auction

^I knew it, MUXU just posted the painting in the artwork of the day thread, it knew I had see it before somewhere!

Good one.

So the painting was based on the chloe photo? Then it doesn't belong in this thread sorry!

sorry I dont mean to sound like a divanopka, but the idea of the thread is to look at works of art that remind you of a specific model. If we have it both ways then people would just post paintings of the models themselves. Like I did a digital painting of vlada, but there is nothing amazing about me posting it because vlada was the subject so there is nothing spooky about it - does that make sense?

I know Sara Jessica Parker is not exactly a model but in this pose - she quite reminds me of a woman from the Italian Renaissance period. Of course - hair creation is Serge Normant.....View attachment 262227 Source: jedroot.com

the last two are very nice!
if i hadn't known, i would have thought that that renaissance painting was inspired by sjp

Wow you found sasha! Well done it's quite a likeness, though at first I thought it was going to be natalia vodionova, because the face is not quite as angular as sasha's.

The sarah jessica parker one is remarkable! But please just models  TFS should be a place where we can escape actress celebrities :argg::zorro::rofl:

I really love the Sasha comparison...to me, it's spooky similarity!

Edit, since that's a self portrait, I looked up the artist, to see how much she looked like Sasha in real life..although, her name comes up as Rosanova, not Rosakova...
