nahh i dont think sasha created the death stare fad at all
if anything, it was mariacarla hands down
but for the mo, i'd say karlie is still reigning queen

new girl sharon kavjian seems to be doing quite a bit of this on the runway.. death staring.. not sure if i like it though.. i find it makes the girls look a bit silly. what's the point in looking like you're in a fit of rage ? not that attractive imo..

So what exactly is a death stare? Is it a possessed look? Fierce look? Angry look? Constipated look? There is a difference. Karlie's "stare" doesn't even look remotely fierce, she just look outright possessed, so maybe that's what a "death stare" mean. Love her though.

Exactly!! I think it has less to do with their talent than it does with their actual bone structure. I've noticed hooded eyes (think Sasha/Karlie with the skin hanging over their eyes) can look much more evil and intense than lidded eyes (think Snejana, Colette Pechekhonova with a high crease above the eye). Lidded eyes are better off pulling off a bedroom sexy look than evil and intense. That's why Sasha and Karlie look so fierce.
