For those looking for membership, you can apply for membership, without having been invited, I don't know how successful doing that is, but I think it'd be worth a try.

I joined Lookbook, long enough ago, that, at the time, you could like sign up to be on a waiting list, or something of that essence, and about five minutes after signing up for this, they sent me an invitation to join...don't know if it's still that easy to get into or not...

Yes, that's essentially the concept, except it doesn't have to be what you're wearing today...could be what you were wearing last year, as long as you have a photo of it. Also will notice occasionally models come along who posts pictures from professional photoshoots that I'm 90% they weren't the stylist for, and the site is supposed to be your personal style. I think members are cheating a bit if their outfit was styled by a professional, and may not even represent their personal style, in the least bit.

Also, popularity definiately plays a part there, popular members will have every outfit shot straight to the top of the hype page, and many just visit the hype page only, and hype those looks, even more, so it can be tough to ever really share looks, with other Lookbook users, if you're not popular, cause most everything you post will slip through the cracks, so to say.
