In the middle of the wave of protests all around Brazil, the Polish model Jac Jagaciak, has arrived in São Paulo to be photographed in the SS 2014 campaign of A Brand, replacing the catarinense (gentilic for Santa Catarina) Aline Weber, current muse of the brand commanded by Ana Claudia Dias. In an interview with Ela Digital, Jac said that manifestations happening in several cities of Brazil were part of the news back in Poland, but she never thought about cancelling the trip whatsoever.
-My Mother was worried about it, Mother's job isn't it?- admitted the model who didn't overstuffed her suitcase in her first visit to the country - I brought the usual: My own shampoo and conditioner because I hate hotels's ones, a bottle of water and my headphones..... This time I'm not going to Rio. But I want to come back to do so-
At 19, Jac owns an enviable résumé. In six years of career, the Polish girl has already been face of Calvin Klein, Valentino, Marc Jacobs, Louis Vuitton, Alberta Ferreti, Dolce & Gabbana e Hermès. That without mentioning her regular appearances on Chanel's Beauty advertisements - job that impulsed her career, putting her in between the most influential models nowadays. Even though her intimate contact with the French house, Jac doesn't appear between the select group of friends of the German designer Karl Lagerfeld,
- We don't have a really close relationship. Lagerfeld doesn't talk much. He doesn't really have much to do with the beauty area of the brand. But I love working with him whenever it happens- commented the model
Not as it might be expected, Jac revealed she isn't much of a cosmetics addict. Among her beauty regime, drinking water and wearing no make up outside of studios and runway shows.
-Now I'm obsessed with my nails. If I can, I try to keep an eye the work of the nail artists, because we need to have perfect nails -
said the Polish girl.
Owner of the 21st spot on the rannking on "models.com", Jac Jagaciak - who's name is indeed Monika - does believe many invitations from new clients, such as Luis Fiod, campaign director of A Brand, have emerged due to the help of such sites.
