"Lucy Van del Wall, president of H&M Canada, couldnt contain her excitement when she announced a few weeks ago that retail space was finally found on the most coveted street in the province [st-catherine]. After a few months of renovations, the store with Swedish roots is due to welcome its first customers in all 2008. "We'll have a few levels. It stimulates people's curiosity," confides the director of the downtown Montreal location."

I hope this big downtown one opens soon...I don't really like the ones we have in the city.

It be nice, have one open downtown. Seeing the one in Pte. Claire does not have mens wear. I do not like going to Rockland.

Really disappointed with H&M, the worst stuff ever (from the cuts to the fabrics).

Zara is like 100000000 times better.

I was walking in that area, Saturday night. Now I know which building you are talking about. It use to have a store Acme, which was opened by a "Chuck", I forgot his last name. Which use to be one of the partners that came up with Lithium Manufacturing.

That part of St Catherine has so many stores now.

Second half of this year. They take possession of the building from Tristan in March.

Sephora is suppose to be opening in that area later this year as well. I wonder where the 2nd store is going to be!

Some people think it be the cinema that they closed last year. I forgot the name of it, it is near St Catherine and St Alexandre

It has been a pretty big rumour since the end of the summer.

When I was in TO a couple of months ago I was told by the manager there that they were opening 2 stores here in 2008. She said the head office was here for a reason!

I know The second one must be opening downtown somewhere...still don't know exactly where though. Watch them open up in Rockland!

I did some research and the head office for Sephora (Sephora Beauty Canada) is here in Montreal.

Current address is at 1 Westmount Square (16th floor) or wtv. If you go on Stanley right across from Mens or MbCo you can see a glass door with Sephora written on it. So I guess they will be moving in that building
