Word;

I couldn't find anything posted on the Moroccan flat...perhaps in my own laziness I just over looked another thread - but is anyone else wearing them??

I got a really beautiful, hand-sewn pair at a flea market in Amsterdam...not like the sequin studded ones you can find at Urban Outfitters...

What do you think?

<--the colour scheme/pattern would be variable obviously...I mean the actual style.

:heart:

I have about 5 pairs of shoes like that one in baby pink one in baby yellow one in pink and silver a brown pair and reddish pair. Cant get enough of them, cheap comfy and practicale :flower:

no kidding - I just love mine, but the leather soles are beginning to wear down... :(

thats why i bought like 5 pairs cos the soles are so unbelivibly flimsey and im so heavy footed i thort if i buy more then one pair i wont wear the same pair loads and wear then down. Plus they were only £10 each from this little indian shop thing, why they had morracan shoes i dont know ???

Hmmm...I'm sure they're made all over the Middle East and India. Maybe I'll pick up some more - we have a very large East Indian population in Toronto (like you do in Britain), and some very wonderful Indian shops.

If anyone in Toronto reads this - I know Om Mantra on Queen West sells them for like $15-30CDN....plus really cheap wooden jewellery and nice silk bags.

I pay about £3 at the most for these in India, made of camel leather (so my Aunt tells me)

yeah my friends when they goto visit relative in india always bring me and my other friends big bags full of slippers and jewlry back as its all so so cheap !!! its like alucky bag so much fun. also cds there are like £4 and some of them are the same as uk 1's 2
