It was in Elle uk in the first few pages (with all the other ads) , seems like an ad

They should have just hired an artist to paint the models in a Rococo Marie Antoinette style. The collection deserved a good campaign. I feel like this is Jeremy Scott's attempt of proving that Moschino is up there with the big guys. It's not.
 
I just came across this vintage Moschino ad in August 1989 issue of Vogue and even though the campaign makes a bit more sense now, it's still ruined by ''the message of hope''. It's pretentious, pointless and stupid. But at least we know where the inspiration came from...
