MOTIVATION for drinking water!!!

I used to drink a lot of water but once the exams came, I just totally stopped. For some stupid reason about going to the toilet.......

But now I'm motivated to drink water everytime I see this thread!
 
I hate drinking water, it just tastes wrong to me (funny cause my last name translates to water!!)
I started making really light herbal teas and freezing them, but it's not really the same, it's just like drinking weak herbal tea! I wish we had those flavour sachets, i always have to buy dozens of bottles of WaterPlus and Mizone at the supermarket and it gets sooo expensive
 
if you think about water alot you want it more. so keep thinking about it

lol you know what i do? i drink a huge bottle of water just before i go to sleep hehe it makes me know i have drunk water and it gets me up in the morning because i have to pee :D haha try it people
 
Drink three to four cups in the morning before breakfast, it will help you with your weight and digestive system.

Carry a 1.5L bottle around with you, if it's in your hand you will want to drink it all so you don't have to carry all that weight around hahaha.

Everytime you have a coffee or tea etc drink one cup of water.

When you go to the kitchen to make food, have two cups of water before you make it.

Take a bottle of water to bed with you, if you wake up have some (make sure it is at body temp., also this is much better than tap water as at night your tap water isn't being 'used' therefore you are drinking 'dead' water it will also smell and be full of chemicals)

Also try and use glass bottles for all your drinks (I admit I don't do this but *really* should)
 
Thanks for the tips, Mk and Lady Panties, i will be trying all of those. Refridgerated water is especially gross.
 
i know this has been said many times before, but CLEAR SKIN is my main motivation.

also, this may just be me, but when my pee is anything but clear or just a reallly realllllyyyyy pale yellow, i find it rather disgusting. and im sorry for anyone who may think this post was disgusting as well :p
 
Only recently did I start drinking a lot of water. Mainly because I now carry around water bottles. I find that once you start drinking it lots, you can't stop. Usually my water bottle is finished before I even know it. But on the downside, I have to make frequent bathroom trips:blush:
 
My motivation involves just feeling hydrated. I like knowing I'm doing something for my body - and it's one of the easiest things you can do to stay healthy.
 
I drink 6-7 L a day but I haven't noticed any significant differences... and I've been going at it for weeks now. maybe my skin is a little better, but I'm not sure. :huh:

anyway I used to be really bad about drinking water--as in I didn't-- but I'm pretty well adjusted now. my advice is to experiment a bit and figure out how you handle it best: for example, I have a squeeze-able water bottle that I fill with warm tap water, and that suits me. (some people would find that gross though. ^_^ ) but I can't stand bottled water, especially if it's cold, and I hate drinking out of a glass. and sometimes I get bored with plain water, so I'll switch to carbonated flavored water which has no caffeine, salt, or calories for those concerned. <my 2 cents> ;)

Same here, haven't SEEN or really FELT a difference... but, eh.
 
^ I'm a bit disappointed actually. I suppose I thought my skin was suddenly going to glow 1000x more and that I'd have energy galore but not quite. :rolleyes: however-- now that I think about it, it may be helping with my head aches... it don't want to sound so negative and discourage people! good luck everyone!
 
water is so good for you....i've been drinking 4 L for just two weeks now and already my skin looks and feels better....i think it also helps with your metabolism...:)
 
I used to be terrible... it was lucky if I drank a glass or two a day. But then a few months ago, I started feeling bad when I saw how much Belowen drank, :lol:

I drink about 3L a day now and my skin is now a lot smoother... I guess because its not dehydrated anymore :lol:
 
I use to steal champayne glasses and pour ice cold water into it... then walk around in pj's and heels :stuart:
 
I won't drink water unless it's ice cold and has fresh lemon squeezed in it - and I mean a bunch of it. But it works!
