Sedmikrásky [Daisies] (1966)
directed by Věra Chytilová
Two teenage girls, both named Marie, decide that since the world is spoiled they will be spoiled as well; accordingly they embark on a series of destructive pranks in which they consume and destroy the world about them. This freewheeling, madcap feminist farce was immediately banned by the government.

^ I saw that one in cinema last summer and loved it! Do you have any idea where I can get the DVD? (I live in Germany, but anything in Europe will do, I guess...)

^Thanks for bringing this film to my attention. It sounds utterly quirky and those screencaps have successfully enticed me. I shall seek it out:flower:

I've just checked Amazon.co.uk and it says the DVD is for release on 25th May - so I'm presuming it's the same story for Germany?

Až přijde kocour [When The Cat Comes] (1963)
directed by Vojtěch Jasný

The actress is Emília Vašáryová, Slovak actress. The film was cute, visually brilliant. It even won some special prize in Cannes...

^ I'm unable to give you karma, but thank you so much for those caps from Christiane F. It's one of my favorite films.
