Great ed!! Third pic looks almost like a Pierre Soulages painting, with its creamy black textures.
Altough it's almost "too contrasty" for my taste, the overall effect is good.

I might have to take this back. That is the main cover according to both their myspace and the website, but it's actually the one labeled "collector's cover" that's on stands here.

Muse is really overpriced (yeah, i've probably mentioned this once or twice or thrice already), but this is a good issue, the first I've felt compelled to buy in a while. I'll scan some stuff tomorrow, maybe.

nice ed, but it feels too long, there are many similar shots that don't really add anything new, still, I like those pictures of rocks, they give a break from the portraits and a bit of variety. And in general I like the pictures of details, especially the one with the hand.

I'm not a fan of Vasiljevic, but this isn't bad at all, and Agnete's working it! Must've been shot during the same trip as the Vasiljevic/Richardson ed in October i-D. I agree that it's a bit repetitive for such a long spread, though. The unseen eds look pretty good, especially Scandalous and Renaissance, as expected given the people involved. Pretty curious to see Power Suit too, actually.

I find both Horst and Ludivine to be rather generic on their own but I'm really loving what they've produced here.. it's total concentration on palette and materials and a lesson for those who think magic relies on fiction or pompous landscapes only.

Renaissance and Power Suit look pretty exciting. looking forward to that.

thank you, Olga!.. it's beautiful , Jacob has truly outdone himself with this.. it's very sober but you can still read the wit of his work through the severity of these images. and the story couldn't come in better timing for me now that I got hooked watching The Tudors .
