Longtime Save the Music supporter Mariah Carey—who mingled with fellow songbird Mya before the show—was honored for her dedication to the cause during the 10th anniversary gala in New York City. "Like everyone growing up, my life wasn't easy," Mariah told the crowd as she accepted her award. "I don't always like to talk about it in great detail, but music saved my life literally. She’s been flying under the radar as of late, but over the weekend R&B singer Mya was spotted showing off her fabulous bikini body in Barbados.

The "Lady Marmalade" songstress looked scorching in a dark pink halter-style two-piece swimsuit as she walked along the sand and splashed in the Caribbean Sea. But earlier in the weekend, it was all business for the Grammy Award-winner, with a scheduled appearance at the Barbados Charity Basketball weekend, held at the Hilton Hotel.
