I really hope she gets the help she needs. There's something really disturbing about the way people and the media are basically laughing at her. It speaks volumes on society's perception (or lack thereof) of mental illness.

Whereas Lindsay was always partying and behaving wildly I'm afraid Amanda's situation seems to be much more serious than that.

I agree. Everytime I see someone post about her or spread "news" about her I feel incredibly bad.
