I am glad I was not the one that felt this way about them. I was scared of it so I edited my post... I believe many of the sellers they recommend sell fakes.
First of all, many pictures are questionable. They are send by anonymous people, why does she trust people she doesn't know? Anybody can alter a picture and make the thing seem real.
Secondly, they contradict themselves too often. Examples are 1) saying real LV's do not have plastic around the handles, but posting pictures of "real" Murakamis with them "because they're the exception". Although I am sure they come with plastic, LV doesn't sell to wholesellers, so I doubt they could get hold of a straight-out-of-factory item. Or 2) saying the Ellipse has one centered row but posting pictures of Ellipse's with two rows, claiming "they released a new version".
Thirdly, I know many facts are wrong. For example, she claims the Pouchette's LV markings in the handle must be placed vertically, but many (sometimes older) releases are placed horizontally.
Finally, the way she discourages people to buy from certain sellers or places is cruel and mean. Yes, I am aware Yahoo allows people to sell counterfeit items -as does Ebay, but accusing somebody of selling them and posting their username on a public website is against the law and act of privacy -I can't comprehend why she isn't afraid of being sued. I wonder how she knows these people are selling fakes? What if somebody regreted having spent so much money and reported them to mypoupette as an act of revenge?
... those are my thoughts on mypoupette... I felt guilty the last time I wrote that so I may edit this message if I do again. On one hand, I think it's nice of her to want to help others, but she isn't doing it for free, so...
