I have Chanel's organdy and although it's a very pretty color I find it chips very easily. I think OPI polish tends to last longer.

Can anyone recommend a great base and a great ridge filler?

BTW I find that the Chanel polishes dry very quickly (as in you can do the dishes 5 mins after application) and it doesn't chip until day 4-5. And this is without base or top coat.

^ My experience, too. That's why I mostly use Chanel. I'm simply too lazy to paint my nails every second day. ;-) Love the colors Black Satin, White Satin and Cassis at the moment.

Orange looks like a big thing . . . like the tangerine Chanel polish from miu's post. Or bright, almost fluorescent creams in general.

OPI just released a new collection called Mod About Brights--you can see swatches on the all lacquered up blog.

China Glaze also has lots of fluorescent cremes out at the moment.

i usually go for the shocking fluorescent colors that u can get at hot topic lol
they come in a cute little poison bottle.
my favorite one is fire pink.
very nice when applied to the tips

That one is Moon Over Mumbai which is a part of the India Collection. It is a nice pale grey...I wore that one last week! I think I will take the orange color for a spin next

Currently, I love orange and yellow. Rimmel's Tequila Sunrise is a beautiful colour, although atrocious quality; and Phosphor from MAC is very bright and lasts pretty well.

Right now I am really into Baby Blue shades. I always wear different shades of Reds (Essie makes my favorite shades of Red) but I needed a change.

90210 is coming back on the air this Fall, and Donna, Kelly, and Brenda are coming with it.

To celebrate, O.P.I releases a range of limited-edition nail shades inspired by the 90 revival that launch this Fall - just in time for the show's pilot episode.

The colors will be revealed in an upcoming issue of NYLON, but for now, we'd put a pretty safe bet on having a light orange hue that's called "The Peach Pit."
