Nail Polish

I love that. But I have a question, doesn't it just get shiny again if you say, put lotion on? I mean how true does it stay to being matte?

^Let me test it out for you right now... :D

Nope, it looks wet with the lotion on, but once the lotion "dries" out it goes back to being matte again. It should matte unless you apply a non-matte top coat.

^Yes, I think a color like that will be my next purchase...

Chanel Jade

Chanel Jade has just sold out in Selfridges London in under an hour, there was a queue outside before the store even opened!

seriously? I didn't know people outside TFS knew about this nailpolish:lol: And would go for a mint green. Lovely color though.

Updates on the OPI matte... It was so dissapointing. I've only had it applied for what, 2 to 3 days? It's chipping and becoming very non-matte already. It's like a shade that only looks good for a day.

Wearing Chanel's Barcelona Red now!

has anyone tried Chanel Intermezzo. I'm curious... It's got a white pearly finish and when it hits the light it turns iridescent.

^I haven't tried it but I'm curious to know what it looks like on. If the beauty counter in my department store stock it,I can buy it this week and find out ;)

It looks a LOT like Chanel's Django polish too...

Hmm now I'm not sure if it's worth buying as I already have something similar. Wish I could have gotten a hold of the shade du jour,Jade!

I bought Jade the day it came out from Chanel's website. I finally did my nails in it a few days ago, and while I've gotten MANY compliments, I'm not sure how I personally feel about it. It does feel kind of out of place in the Fall, and maybe I'm just not used to wearing such light/pale shades. The slight shimmer in it though is really lovely. I may have missed the boat on the Jade discussion (have been somewhat MIA from the boards) but I'm just wondering how others are feeling about it now that they can actually try it on their own nails??

Knock Out Cosmetics

Has anyone ever tried the nail polishes from Knock Out Cosmetics? They produce these beautiful matte colors... they look great in the images from the website but I wonder what they look like in real life photos. I discovered this brand through Christian Joy's blog.

Here's Karen O of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs modeling for the campaign.

i saw in the shops a new revlon 3 pack that smell like fruit when they dry.

Those matte shades look great... But I've decided to ditch all matte from now on because they barely last :(

My pkg from sephora came today and I got Dark Room and 212 from their OPI line. I haven't tested them yet but I think they'll look really cool layered. I have the Metro Chic already and I love the formula.

that Intermezzo is a cool color but it looks like there's a bubble on her nail. I'm think it's maybe actually sheer and they put it on too thick to make it opaque and that's why the bubble? I am really liking Chanel Jade right now but I wouldn't spend that much on one nail polish, maybe if it wasn't such a trendy shade...
