that is brilliant! i just love her technique with leather...the way she sculpts and molds the pieces. as with her ghostly cameo pieces and the pearls neck pieces prior. it's a really nice texture which is such a rare thing to accomplish with leather. usually texture in leather is in the skin in itself never manipulated and executed as an actual form.
tom i didn't see that image though on her page, did she just post this?
Went to the store to check it out again yesterday, no ticking. And they only have the grey leather one left which I don't like so much, so the few bills are still in my pocket .
At the Club 21 mens store in Singapore. It was retailing for S$339 (roughly 170euros) and it wasn't on discount though the seasonal sale has started. I wonder if that's a good price.
the bags are incredible. i love the concept of wrapping everything in leather. aside from the craftsmanship involved, the slightly s&m tinged connotation is balanced by the elegant shapes and designs.
i wonder about the bright pins though. they would be hard to pull off.
sevennewyork will also be carrying some of her stuff.
i didn't realize CAD meant canadian dollars.. especially since there is no space between that and the number for the price..
i guess i figured that was some sort of item code of something
wow the link for that shop! i never find good canadian shops online. And i'm actually heading to Montreal at the end of january...may check this store out....
I'm sure this is mentioned elsewhere in the thread but where is she based out of? paris? I'd rather not pay Canadian import duties if I can....her bags are lovely but SO expensive in CAD. love her designs though
off-topic re: reborn....they got beautiful choices in pieces of bless as well. i wish i had that kind of money because i would get that puffa-like sweater and that gorgeous hooded coat with the high collar.
