My jealousy comment was out to all those people who say 'OMG I hate Natalie Portman she sux!'
If they were to present constructive critisism, I would be assured there were other reasonable arguments for why they do not like her.

who said that though? I think everyone who made negative comments had an argument. Coolio is quite right : Not everyone that criticizes is jealous. Some people are so obsessed with celebrities that they don't realize there's people who simply don't like certain things about the person.
Noone said: Natalie Portman is UGLY and she just SUCKS.
I think everyone said: She is pretty and all...BUT...
And the people who don't think she's pretty explained that too.

No offense, but....

A friend and I went to Paris last week and during the weekend we (are pretty sure) saw Natalie Portman. Buzz cut, jeans, blue coat, holding hands with what my friend sworn was the director Wes Anderson, he had a tweed coat and sunglasses, long hair. natalieportman.com reported there were rumours of them working together on the Paris J'taime shorts...so that was need to (supposedly) see her. 98% sure it was her.

I cannot imagine Nat having been with Wes Anderson. And I cannot imagine that she even knows him, either. I have never herad of that. Possibly you saw a different woman.

Personally, judging somebody by an interview isn't exactly fair. Interviews are almost always biased. Journalists have their own way with words. So claiming that she is arrogant isn't exactly fair unless you've personally met her.

And in case you were claiming that I am 'Natalie obsessed' - I'm not. I like her talent and looks, but that's about it.

I was more like referring to most other threads ( Kate Moss, Olsens,... ). People in there immediately assume that everyoen copies them or is jealous because they're too damn obsessed.

I just don't bother going in the Renee Zellweger or Pamela Anderson thread and writing an essay about why I don't find them pretty - I just don't.
I'm not gonna write an essay on why I find Mariah Carey arrogant because I just think she is.
Same with people here, they don't bother. They'll post their opinion on the celeb. It's different if they said: Natalie is just plain ugly.
Then it'd be obvious you'd wonder and say: um - why would you think that ?etc.
But yea.. lets forget it I don't care enough for it haha

No need for an essay, just logical, mature reasons. Other than - she seems so full of herself, and so on. Because some fans can get upset and defensive.
