Her movies are always quite interesting, and Natalie Portman's latest project finds her starring alongside Ewan McGregor and Joel Edgerton in “Jane Got a Gun.”
Slated to hit theaters in February 2016, the forthcoming flick is directed by “Warrior” mastermind Gavin O’Connor and also stars Rodrigo Santoro.
Per the synopsis, “Jane Got a Gun enters on Jane Hammond (Natalie Portman), who has built a new life with her husband Bill “Ham” Hammond (Noah Emmerich) after being tormented by the ultra-violent Bishop Boys outlaw gang. She finds herself in the gang’s cross-hairs once again when Ham stumbles home riddled with bullets after dueling with the Boys and their relentless mastermind Colin (Ewan McGregor). With the vengeful crew hot on Ham’s trail, Jane has nowhere to turn but to her former fiancé Dan Frost (Joel Edgerton) for help in defending her family against certain destruction. Haunted by old memories, Jane’s past meets the present in a heart-stopping battle for survival.”
First look at Natalie Portman in Pablo Larrain’s first English-language feature Jackie, currently shooting in Paris and co-starring Peter Sarsgaard as Robert Kennedy, Greta Gerwig, John Hurt and Max Casella.
Produced by Darren Aronofsky, the movie will chronicle the first four days in the former First Lady’s life after John. F. Kennedy’s assassination;

I wonder how she's going to do Jackie's whispery baby voice.
She doesn't have the same big physical presence Jackie had -- Jackie was several inches taller and people commented that she had a big head and "big peasant hands." She just had a great presence about her that Natalie, while beautiful, lacks. She's just too diminutive.
