lucky day...

Here is a new pic I found in a spanish magazine (neo2, web address: www.neo2.es) I bought yesterday. Never seen that mag before and my eyes were just caught by the cover (a lot of red freckles :woot: !! - not Nataliya, unfortunately). But the biggest suprise was inside. I just looked at a few pages and saw a big photo of Nataliya taken from an english catwalk (Fashion East by Spijkers en Spijkers s/s 2006) that I've never seen before... what a lucky day !!^_^

I'm quite talkative tonite...

Thanks a lot Pashen'ka for posting all these pics !! :flower: I posted some Yuki Torii pics before but you just add some marvelous missing ones with other points of view, with other face expressions ... just take a look at all the Maruyama pics, there are loads of pics that seem to be the same but actually they're not at all ! ^_^
I've searched a lot for her on ukrainian or russian model agency with quite no results...:angry: ! However I've learnt that her first agency might have been Nikita Agency in Ukraine but you also find her on the home page (she appears big on the screen...:woot: ) of L models, another ukrainian agency ! And in one of your previous (I should say older, it was on page 2) posts you gave a link to an other ukrainian website called Odessa Passage (if anyone knows the mag and what's inside...:heart: :blush: :flower: that would be welcome )... and it's quite hard to manage to find anything when website are in russian or only half translated...:( btw, I've found an interview of her (in russian, obviously), I'll give you the address, once I find it back...:blush:
Then, her name seems to be another big big mystery !!! In some website she's called Natasha Sidorova (just as you mentionned) in another Natalya Piro, in most of them she's Nataliya Piro and I've found one calling her Natasha Pirozhkova ! Maybe in russian Nataliya and Natasha are quite the same or very near, I absolutely don't have any idea... but I keep on dreaming !:blush:

So, if you (or anyone else) have some information...^_^ :flower: :heart:

^ Glad to be helpful, if I can! :blush: ;) Here we go:

1) Odessa Passage is just a web portal of the city of Odessa; the agency is called "Art - Podium";

2) What mag do you mean? That mexican Elle with her on the cover? :unsure:

3) If you find the interview, send me the link, I'll translate it! ^_^

4) about first names: russians use many nicks for every name, so a girl called Aleksandra will be called by friends/relatives Sasha, Sashen'ka, Sashka, and so on.
The name Natalia should actually be translitered from cyrilic as "Natal'ja" or "Natal'ya" (the original cyrillic is Наталья), though in Ukraine it's slightly different and there it's written "Nataliya". Anyway, this name has many nicks, and the most used one is "Natasha";

5) finally, about her last name: she certainly transformed it from "Pirozhkova" to "Piro" to make it easier for westerners (the same that Natasha Poly did: her real surname is "Polevshchikova" - in french it would be translitered as "Polevchtchikova" btw :p ); couldn't say about "Sidorova": since it's less probable that she's already married at her age :doh: (and thus changed hern surname from the original "Sidorova" to "Pirozhkova", meaning that her husband's name would be "Pirozhkov"), I think it's more probable that one of those is her mother's surname...

Thanks a lot and...

... sorry for being soooo much late but I had big problems with my computer and couldn't open fashion spot for two days:angry: :( :cry: ...
Thanks Pashen'ka for all the wonderfully gorgeous pics !! :flower: :woot: and for all the information. Odessa Passage is also the name of a local magazine and they have a subscribtion form (in russian, of course...:( :innocent: ) on the web portal so I wondered if somebody knew that mag and if Nataliya appears in it...
Art-Podium...:( it's (apparently) impossible to see more pics on their website because logins are only given to fashion professionals...:(

All these mysteries about her name are in one hand a part of the beauty of the character... but in another one it makes it harder to find pics from her begining (again, thanks a lot Pashen'ka for her pics as Nataliya Sidorova :heart: :heart: - lov'em so much that I chosed one of them as my avy...:flower: ) as well as polaroids, etc...

To trustthegirls: thanks for the great comments... I've seen you're from Germany, maybe you have or have seen Nataliya Piro's edits from mags like Madame, Amica or Tush... (I wanted to scan some of them I have, but my computer didn't agree...:angry: :( )
