Natura Bisse Barcelona Products

In the same dilemma, my dear. Running low on creamy cleanser (I have what WAS an 8.5 oz of Biologique-Recherche VIP02 Oxygenating Cleansing Milk AND another-Lait U, more for oilier skin and since we'll be into winter soon I dont really want to use it, plus it expired in 04/09  )and THEN I have Shiseido The Skincare Extra-Gentle Cleansing Foam but that's more to use with my Clarisonic Skincare Brush, it works better with foam than an emulsion, also have a nice size of La Prairie Purifying Creme Cleanser but I need a FULL new cleanser, so I'm debating between the Sensitive Cleansing Cream again or The Cure, but there is that increase in money...

Also, need a new toner. Was going to get SkinCeuticals Revitalizing Toner, really exfoliates and helps products sink in, not so expensive, far from the Cure Hydra-Gel Toner, but I WANT I WANT I WANT The Cure products!!

OK, THEN, I have Dr. Hauschka Cleansing Cream Gentle Exfoliant as a 'physical' exfoliant but I need a chemical one too, and since the 50% GlycoPeel is $170 and that's about ALL I have  I was going to get their 25% one at $130.

I really hate discussing/complaining about the costs of skincare, because money is usually tossed to the side if it backs up what it says, and Natura Bisse does, it's just that I'm on a budget.

Last thing I need:A day cream. I use NB's Sensitive Cream at night, used the Top Ten Complex serum (was a sample) the other day and liked it, was looking at the Cream and am intrigued.

miu_miu what creams do you use? I'm just razzled.

Get the 50 percent Glyco Peel. That is the one product I can not and never will live without. Have tried the NB Serum. Was sent four The Cure Serum packets. Not seeing much benefit. But I mix and match so much it is tough to figure out what works and what doesn't.
As far as a Day Cream - I did not like the La Mer gel cream at first, but it really grew on me. I use that as my day cream, especially in the summer.
As far as night cream, I switch back and forth between NB and LM. I really do think that LM makes the best moisturizing cream out there. I have tried to not like it, but it makes a huge difference in m skin...

I've never even tried on my skin the 25% but if I get the 50% I have no money for anything else. I DO have an Erno Laszlo toner that ( in its very small size is a gel-like substance more than real watery and that has lasted me four months, still have at least two left so I can skip the toner) but I really need a day cream!

I am still on my cleanser dilemma so hopefully you guys can help me out. I am also thinking about budget without wanting to compromise my skin in any way but I would also like to simplify my routine into the minimum of high quality and effective products - I don't think my skin responds well to a lot of different things in one routine. My main concerns / interests are breakouts & scarring, as well as improving the texture and strength of my skin and general protection in the form of antioxidants & sun protection. I have oily but dehydrated skin - becomes more combination in winter.

So at the moment I use - Sensitive Cream Cleanser (a little heavy but great in winter), The Cure Toner, Sensitive Complex & Sensitive Gel Cream. I will be adding in some La Roche Posay Vitamin C products as I've read this is great start for anti-aging at my age, as well as Avene Diacneal ( a retinol / glycolic treatment which is good for acne but also helps with anti-aging).

For cleansers (you're all going to think I'm nuts but this is also called "too much time on my hands")

1. The Cure Cleanser - seems like a good inbetween texture, creamy but not as thick as the Sensitive Cleanser. It's 150ml for £40 but I know it removed absolutely all my makeup, so there'd be no need to buy another product. It would require an exfoliant though and I like glycolics but can't purchase the 25% or 50% products at the moment.

2. Cream Cleanser with AHA - my skin really responded well to the gel cleanser with AHA but I know I can't use it in winter. I like the daily exfoliation - it's around £28 for 200ml so less expensive but I would need to purchase MU remover which is £15.

I honestly don't know  Can I really justify £40 for a cleanser which sits on my face a couple of minutes? Maybe I should wait a few years and use The Cure line when I'm older? I feel like all of them are used better in conjunction with the rest of the line - so do I go all Cure or all Sensitive?

I'm with you miu_miu! I need to simplify my routine as well but keep it simple with very effective and high-quality products with the best ingredients.
Your all-sensitive routine seems to sound good-the Sensitive Cleansing Cream, though it can be very difficult to remove, but I use a clean cloth now to remove it, so it's all good, I dont have to keep trying to wipe it off gently. Toners- as much as I love luxury, a toner's a toner. I wouldnt use a drugstore or Clinique or some cheap toner full of bad ingredients, but You just want to re-balance your pH and get the acid mantle of your skin nice and prepped for any exfoliation or serums/moisturizers that will follow. The Sensitive Complex is magnificent, and I have never used the Sensitive GEL Cream but I love the Sensitive Cream on its own over a serum at night...its beautiful.

So you still are deciphering what cleanser though, I would get the Cream Cleanser with the AHA for the exfoliation, plus in a thicker cream form it will be more gentle and protect and soften your skin for winter.

Any help?

I think I may just pass on the GlycoPeel this time, I just got some Biologique-Recherche P50W in the 8.5 oz today :buzz: and a back-to-back serum routine of two serums that rejuvenate, so I think I'm good for chemical exfoliation, as well as on the physical side of exfoliation, I have the Dr. Hauschka Cleansing Cream.

NOW my dilemma is-NEED a day cream. Would like it to be a Natura Bisse one, and it needs to be for day, but ever since you brought up By Terry's luxe line and that her creams are green-fantastic for toning down redness-I've been thinking more of that too.

OH soooo many choices aren't there? -_-

I love the By Terry gel moisturizer. I received several samples. I particularly love the scent.

I just want a comfortable moisturizer for day that feels good on the skin, doesnt turn me greasy looking (although in winter that doesnt make me mind, at least I look dewy and not dry)and is hydrating and diffuses redness.

The NB Diamond is sooo beautiful and makes the skin glow, but a bit out of my price range at the time.

'They'/beauty columnists say you should splurge on your serums, and buy a more basic moisturizer, but I really like a luxury cream and something that calms down the redness...maybe I'll just cave in and get my La Prairie Cellular Anti-Redness Nurturing Cream...cant think!!

I think you would like the Sensitive Gel Cream and it would probably be enough for winter if you're using serums and a moisturizing suncream during the day and are not particularly dry. It's still a luxury cream, save your money for your serums! I am intrigued to try the By Terry but I know I like NB so I don't want to waste money buying something I'm not 100% sure about - although if you do want something, you know I adore the Rose Mask ^_^

I'm taking your advice on the cleanser, thanks!

Well I'm no longer using the NB moisturizing sunscreen religiously everyday :innocent: and I believe the Sensitive Gel Cream would be a bit tight-feeling and dry on my skin for winter.

I wish I could afford Biologique-Recherche's Gel Emulsion Biosensible, I loved it when I applied a bit on my cheeks yesterday, and granted, it was warm weather, but it is lovely. I could actually afford to get it, but I want something NB. I'm never satisfied.

I've been looking at Day Creams from Natura Bisse online, and am torn between Essential Shock Cream (on Neiman Marcus website they advertise it with this name) but on Bergdorf Goodman (also owned by NM) it is advertised as Essential Shock Gel Cream and there is about an $11.00 price difference.

Anyhow, the description. It sounds a bit for older skin and I shouldnt just buy it without trying it out, I really need something incredibly soothing and redness diffusing, this doesnt sound like it, but look:
An intensive firming and anti-aging emulsion, which restores firmness and elasticity to all skin types.
Formulated with highly refined Natural Collagen Amino Acids in their Free Form, Vitamins A+C+E and Lady's Thistle extract, nourish and regenerate the skin, while protects against free radicals to prevent the appearance of visible signs of aging.
Enriched with Isoflavones, a powerful anti-aging ingredient, obtained from Soybeans germ extract and Iris Florentina root extract, this gel cream can effectively fight changes in the skin due to hormone fluctuations, common in mature skin.
Isoflavones are microencapsulated in Cyclodextrins to penetrate easily, allowing the Isoflavones to retain its properties and effectiveness within the skin.

As a result, the skin feels soft, firm and toned.

THEN I could pair it up with the Sensitive Gel Cream, which is priced well enough I could get both.

My eye of course started to wander and I saw that Cle De Peau Beaute had a new daytime cream, La Prairie's favorite Cellular Anti-Redness Nurturing Cream lasts forever, and then there is the option of

I'm using ALL Natura Bisse on my face now pretty much, with a physical exfoliant thrown in 2-3x a week by Kate Somerville and a cleansing foam maybe 2-3x a week by Shiseido or Cle De Peau.

My skin is loving the Diamond Extreme Cream alternated with Sensitive Cream, and I use The Cure cleanser, Sensitive Toner, Sensitive Complex, GlycoPeel 50%, and am going to purchase the Oxygen Mask next week...how did you like it miu_miu? :flower:

LMK about the oxygen mask. I haven't even heard of that. I used all NB products tonight and have been using them exclusively for the past month.

Went to Neiman Marcus yesterday and Natura Bisse has discontinued the 50% Glyco Peeling Plus. :(

At first I was a bit peeved because I had called ahead to ask the SA to set it aside for me, and I get there and another SA is ringing it up, and I hear the total, and know its wrong.

Long story short:I ended up purchasing the Glyco Extreme Peel which has 10% more glycolic in it. This Extreme Peel has replaced the 50%.

I didnt get the Oxygen mask either because I was low on money (the Glyco Extreme was almost $250 with tax) so I will purchase that next time. I was looking at their testers and the Ananas Finishing Mask sounds more to my liking since it is for dry skin.

Other NB products I'm looking to get - Top Ten Complex, Top Ten Cream (both for dehydrated skin, they retexturize and seal in moisture) and the Rosa Mosqueta Oil.

I will post a review of the Glyco Extreme Peel once I've used it. Since it was so expensive, I'll be using it sparingly. The insert says to use 14 pumps!

I really want the Rosa Mosqueta Oil NOW. Wish I lived next to Neiman's.

Anyhow, yikes on the 14 pumps, yeah I dont envision myself using more than half that many.

I like the Beautysnob blog. They certainly appreciate 'finer skincare'

LTEC, I think you were right not to buy the Oxygen mask - there are much better products for brightening etc - although it is not a bad product (and I loved what the cream did for my skin), I don't really like the use of hydrogen peroxide. I think the peel and use of sunscreen & antioxidants will serve you much better :flower:

miu_miu help me decide...for a day cream. I was thinking the Top Ten, (its more in the budget for now, $100 less, but I do use The Cure cleanser however the Cure serum and cream would work best together and I dont have the Serum yet)...anyone else can weigh in. This is just me being obsessive over what I think I need for a new moisturizer next.

Depends how your skin is at the moment, Top Ten seems good for dry skin? I haven't tried either but I tested The Cure and I liked it because it was moisturising but not at all heavy so I think I would go for that ^_^ You could buy the Rosa Mosqueta Oil seperately (or get a sample) and have the benefits of that to add into The Cure if you feel you need extra moisture..

Here I am! So what do you think of this cream for oily skin? http://www.naturabisse.es/en/producto_detalle.php?idp=49&id=5&pa=0&co=58 since you said the diamond is specific for dry skin? :flower:
thanks
