Can women wear neckties?

Yes. Try last season's Valentino for examples (I think). Or just look at the picture of our own Ms. Diorella in 'Pictures of us' wearing a rather snazzy floral tie.

i used to wear them all the time.

then after wearing them for 4 years, avril lavigne came out + decided it was "her thing" + people started saying "hey avril" to me when i wore one. so i stopped (even though i didn't wear them with tanktops.....), because that wasn't the look i wanted to be associated with (even though it was a more marlene dietrich style that i emulated...the thought still bothered me)

but now i do it again every so often, more often now that it's fall, for some reaon, i think it's a lovely style...

i love mostly skinny ties, or REALLY wide ties.....sometimes i tie 'em so they're short (and just tuck the extra long end into my shirt...so it doesn't look weird..)

If u wear the right items, a tie can be an unusual and funny accessory; personally I have never wear it, I'm more hippy-boho but I like all things with a personalty, and ties have it:)

I think its great as long as your not emulating Avril (in my opinion of course) .

Go for it have an experiment i think its a good thing if done right.But be warned your never find a tie quite so funky as my floral one
