Nico and Danny knew each other from Warhol's Factory, and he signed her in the late 1960's to Elektra Records (Fields is best known as the man who discovered and signed the MC5 and Stooges while at Elektra, later going on to manage both bands.) Nico stayed in regular contact with Fields, and wrote this card to him circa 1968. It says in full "Danny Angel, It takes a long time to travel from one place to the other & then we never even get there. Left Viva in Rome with the noble cats & dogs. Contact me when I know where to find myself. I love you* Nico." Nico signatures are rare enough; handwritten letters are virtually never seen. This one, written during the 60's to a close associate, and mentioning Warhol superstar Viva, is a classic. Some creases, but overall in very good condition. Included is an 8" x 10" color photo of Nico, suitable for framing. Guaranteed authentic with no time limit."
