I do agree! I never tired of Nico's pictures. I love these photos: She is so elegantly wasted .

I found this picture of Nico in the Willy Maywald thread! I'm suprised there aren't more photos that he took of her around since he's pretty much the one that discovered her.

1st LP is her best but "Desert Shore" is something special

I agree! I can never choose between The Marble Index and Desertshore but i usually go with The Marble Index. I guess there's a Nico record for every mood!

yeah i mean "the VU & Nico" is like the all time classic LP ever ever, but then Nico's Chelsea Girl is pretty genius.

then for INTENSE Nico-ism, youve got Marble & Desert... I actually think Desert is MORE intense so as far as "Nico's Nico" you might say that desert is really her Most NICO Lp !! )

It's the most gothic. I also like that it has songs in German and French and that Ari sings on it. I think Desertshore would be a good introduction to Nico.

I was in TamPoPo getting asian dinner tonight & the Mod girl was playing "Chelsea Girl" !!

I told her about Desert Shore & she said she would check it out

Oh neat! I wonder if she'll like it. I've noticed a lot of people who like the VU and Nico and like Chelsea Girl but don't like anything after that. But to me Nico is everything that happened after that.
