Nicolas Andreas Taralis F/W 06.07 Paris

Wonderful idea - and hey, that's the field my dad works in, surface chemistry and wood pulp (the different uses), etc among other things. Right now it's mainly wood and paper science. I saw a piece of glass fiber he had in his car the other day, it was sooooo silky soft and lustrous - too bad it can't be used for clothing because apparently it's easy to inhale the fibers... (guess that doesn't fit into wood and paper science, though )

As for the collection - beautiful, androgynous (and it's rare for me to look an androgynous collection because I believe men should look like men and women should look like women, but this is androgynous without losing it's femininity - sexy! :woot:).

I like how by going a few sizes up, men could wear this, and not look like they were wearing womens (mainly on tops, I think).

:flower: Thx everyone who posted.

The discussion is up already, in the careers and education forum... feel free to contribute :flower:

Well, i think the prices are quite funny! Who is gonna buy something that expensive in the stores? I guess the clients who buy his clothes are not really the ones he would like to dress.Probably rich women...It also seams that he has choosen the same shinny fabrics than Dior Homme. The cuts looks ok anyway.
This guy should really find his own identity!

Actually, as it was already mentioned, if you go some sizes up men could wear them. My guess is that since Nicolas Andreas Taralis is a former assistant to Slimane, he must have impressed some of the DH fans to look his way, since the declining quality among others has made the DH fans look to other labels.

I haven't been that happy with the pricing to be honest, but in his defense, the quality is basically identically perfect as Dior, with the difference that he is a small designer with much smaller quantities and fabric orders as Dior.

Maybe it's arguable that women probably don't get as picky and turned-on by the handstitching on the inside of a jacket and floating canvassing, but the quality is there, which explains why his jackets cost more than some others.

Thanks for the pictures tricot, you look nice in the clothes

I love that he is using natural fabrics
