i was kiddin'.... i watch way TOO MUCH TV! i would not consider your lack of celebrity knowledge ignorance... i have a hunch you read more that watch mindless tv and that is the way to be....

She's a fairly major celebrity where I live. Marco-Pierre White is an infinitely better chef though. Rachel De Thame is also cool, she walks interestingly because she used to be a ballerina.

I like watching her show and I have been since it was picked up by the style channel a few years ago. Her celeb status I could care less about but more so the way she makes cooking look terribly easy. I used to hate cooking until I watched her show and got some of her recipes, now I feel rather comfortable and in the kitchen. Albeit clumsy as hell. Which is another thing I like--she is too and she makes no excuses to cover that up. Somehow its relatable. Even if she is rich and popular in the UK.
