Thanks for posting Adlet.
My first foray into Moscow Fashion week and pretty impressed.
It's certainly bang on with the close-frontedness, the cocoon and 'gorilla' silhouettes.
It has something of a Yohji/ Junya type feel.
I particularly liked the suggestion of the closeness of that Raf Simons/mid-century Balenciaga shape and a straightjacket.
Similarly the quilted texture taps into the puffa jacket thing but in an interesting way. I felt oven gloves were evoked.
Ovengloves and straightjackets, domesticity and madness. Which then has me thinking of AW10/11 Bernhard Willhelm and Balenciaga.
Though this work doesn't feel 'borrowed' in the slightest. Relevant, interesting, on dialogue, directional even. Bravo.
