Nirvana

I like some of the grunge fashion---two people who did it the best are (to me) Kurt Cobain and Kate Moss.

love him, his music is genious! and i love his style completly. I always think its odd tho since he always said he never wanted to be noticed for his style and yet he was and still is a "style icon". in my mind it always brings up the debate is someone really a style icon if they don't want to be and on the flip side should someone else be a style icon just because they wear all the latest designer goods and try really hard, what gives someone style? I guess some people are just born with it, like mr. cobain

^Yes, some become style icons without intending it.

I like Nirvana, but I'm quite sure their music wouldn't be consider as good/Kurt Cobain a genious if he wouldn't have died so early.

Love Kurt Cobain so much...

he was so talented.. and so beautiful!

Kurt Cobain changed the way I looked at music and myself. He made it OK to not have nice, trendy clothes. Actually, it wasn't OK to everyone, but it was OK to not care what others thought. I think that's the biggest lesson I got from him. That said, I once had long hair, ripped jeans (once had? hmm...) and the chain wallet. Sigh... I feel old now. LOL

I still get sad that he's not alive any more.
His style was actaully amazing.
I think he paved the way for a hell of a lot of trends.

Nevermind is "the album", the music and the lyrics and what it meant for so many people. I got it long time ago and I can't get over it. Some many bands inspired by Nirvana...Bush, Foo Fighters,Muse, Hole,Reef, Smashing pumkins, Sweet 75/Eyes Adrift, Presidents of the USA,The Vines and even Green Day in a way.

Cobain had something few artists had:sincerity and complexity.

Kurt "owned" thrift store style partly because he developed that style out of necessity, and partly because he had a great sense of style and great instincts.

Maybe some people jumped on the Nirvana bandwagon as the result of Kurt's tragic early death, but I clearly remember the revelation I felt when I first heard Smells Like Teen Spirit on the radio, before it was released, and I can honestly say that album (Nevermind) changed my life. I believe it had already changed the course of (rock) music before Kurt died.

I Love Kurt Cobain. I think he is the most beautiful man of all time.
I love his style even though there are styles that I love more.
He was an amazing man and an amazing artist.
