Notify Jeans

I bought a pair of the Anemone Stretch hoping they would be nice and long (I'm 6'1" and I'm always in heels), but as soon as I held them up, I knew they were too short. :( The length was a better fit for my sister who's 5'7". Oh well.

G-Star does a killer slim-fit boot cut (beware as some styles are cut looser). Rogan does slimmerish jeans, Blue Cult bootfits are VERY slim (I wear a 28 and I hate to admit that they are almost too slim on me), I have a pair of True Religon cords that fit like perfection, and a pair of jeans that fit almost as well. Earl Jeans does a couple really, really great fitting bootcuts for men, but it can be hard to find them in sizes under 30. Helmut Lang does some great slimmer jeans, as does Marc by Marc Jacobs. There really are a lot of options, and obviously with all brands it depends on what style, as some will run much looser. I do not personally have any strict reservation to spending $300 on jeans, if they seem worth it. You are almost at the Dior Homme price point there though, and we all know that those are probably the best fitting men's jeans out right now.

Also to add to these brands, raijin showed me the website for Lad Musician which also has some great slim fitting jeans from what I've seen in their pictures, and while they're not cheap it's a reasonable alternative at around $200 for a pair.

Dior Homme jeans fit great (the 19 cm is really slim, the black whiskered one that Foxie Pooh has is 21 cm and I find that one is nice too, more of a straight leg cut though) but the pricing is insane as there are lots of styles that are $500 and don't even go on sale, as they are carried from season to season. But if you can find them on sale online or during sales time I would think they are worth a shot.

im 511 and skinny. does anyone who has these think they would flatter? also, websites say the rise is 71/2 but they look like they fit the behind area pretty nicely. any ideas?

i have the sagina --they are taper legged ants.. look amazing in person... they are pretty long for me--- just right.

oh--and rise is low--- but unless ur butt is really big proprtiionallt to ur body...its ok

I have one pair and love them. I snagged a $300 pair for $40 on the sale rack at Marshall Field's!

I have a pair of Notify jeans in the Hellebora (medium wash, straight leg), and I love them. They're very fitted and the jeans are incredibly soft from the get-go. I know that some of their jean styles have a 36" inseam, but mine don't seem to be a 36". They might be a 34"-35" at most because I'm 5'9" and they're only a tad long.

Has anyone purchased current Notify jeans in NA recently? I was told they weren't distributed to NA anymore.

Does anyone know if you can buy them in Australia? I'd buy them online if only I knew what size I'd be :(

I want these wax jeans that Charlotte Gainsbourg is wearing- anyone know the style name?

:woot:

They look like the hellobora but I'm not sure...I love the wash though

Those wax jeans are pretty hot, anyone know how the fit is on them?

i ordered 25 on shopbop, I normally waer 24 but some people said that they fit small...I'll report back once I try them on:)

I have the calypso intrigue jeans in 28 and they fit pretty true to size I think...if not a little be big because I have worn 28s from other brands that run smaller...but it may be the cut as well since the calypso is a loose bootcut...I would love to try the glossy and oily blue/grey anemones and helloboras but I can't seem to find any stores that carry those...Jeffrey usually carries Notify but I only saw some cords on sale when I was there...anyway all the Notifys have super long inseams but since I'm 6' I don't need to get them altered. Im pretty impressed with their denim quality in general

yes, please do report back caffeine when you get to try them on.

I'm interested in their blue/grey oily finish.

Foxie: you are 6'?? Wow.. you lucky thing. :P Thanks for the comments about fit.. have to check out if the dept. stores here will carry the oil finish.

What is the difference between the Hellebora and the Anemone? Is it that the Anemone has a skinnier leg? I am def gonna buy one of them in the wax finish, not sure which, I want whichever one is skinnier. I normally wear a size 26, so I am going to try on the Notify jeans stocked in Sydney (ie like, 2 pairs :( ) for the fit and then order them online.

Notify Anemone 4 Pocket in Dark Blue Glossy from revolveclothing. You can't really tell they're glossy jeans from the pic, though.

I tried the oily black Hellebora at AB fits in San Francisco a month ago, and they where just stunning. They are VERY long, which was great since I am 6'1 tall, but they where the longest jeans I ever tried.

They might run a bit small at the waist, 31 fit me perfectly even though I often wear 30.

They are absolutely beautiful, I just have no idea how they have to be washed and to me it felt as if the color might come off onto sofas/ chairs/ clothes.

If you read the style description at revolveclothing closely, it tells you the measurement of the different styles. The anemone is a skinnier straight leg measuring at 15 around the knees and ankles. The hellobora is slightly boot legged at around 14 for the knees and 15 at the ankles. Hope this helps. I personally can't shop for jeans online because I have to see the fit on myself before I can decide on something...

I found a fit guide at active endeavors...it's quite helpful

I got my size 25 jeans. It's comfortable on the legs, but the butt part has a little extra room. The legs are amazing though. Should I go down to 24 (try to find one) or is that possible to have it altered?
