Finally! I haven't liked a Numéro cover in months but Fatou Jobe's cover is wonderful.
Her stare is charming and the turban works pretty well. I can definitely feel an "invitation au voyage" by watching it.

I dislike both covers. First one is too stark, and the styling on the second one looks atrocious. Nice to see Hams Feurer back, but he's not really a cover photographer. The brilliance of his aesthetic lies in full body motion shot. I could go so far as to say he's the best fashion photographer to captures motion shots.

I too love Hans work and I also like his close-ups but the styling isn't helping here. Too much going on. Amilna looks lovely. Fatou too although I'm not a fan of the photography.

Numero is not exactly delivering this year, so this is comforting somehow.
The eyes of Fatou had me captured and her neck, ugh, exquisite! The problem is that the fashion itself is not coming thru the beauty of the models, so its a turnoff for me.
