Numéro May 2015 : Aya Jones by Daniel Sannwald

it looks computer generated, i hate that. background is hideous

 I'm sorry, but I find this extremely revolting. Like the offspring of Natasha Henstridge in Species. I struggle to see how 'fire' ties in with this story.

^I don't get the fire thing too.
It is probably one of the worst editorials of Numero, it looks cheap and awful. What were they thinking?

I like the weird styling, specially paired with all white clothes. The fire background just ruins it though imo because the slick skin and hair was risky enough, borderlines trashy.

i like it because i get dancehall cyber alien queen from this, and the fire background is cool imo. I see a heavy anime vibe from this in the styling which i love.

What on earth is this......

God knows! I see she's wearing a sport mouth guard as well? It's like they took a bunch of random stuff and just threw it together, no distinct direction whatsoever.

eugh...the rest of the contents has a lot of making up to do for this crap

Usually when i dont like an editorial, i try to figure it out the inspiration and why i dont like it but for this one with Aya, it is just pure trash and this is the ugliest ed i have ever seen in my life. Everything is wrong for me.

Okay I don't think I'll add a lot about Aya's edit ... such a waste :/ The weird factor is kinda well done, I admit it even if I am not a fan. The white styling is okay. But yep, dat background ... Kasia's edit is better. The 2nd, 4th and 5th are genius :)

So the theme of the issue is fire, and it translates well in Hans' edit. But I dont see 'fire' in Aya's shots, lol.
