Claudia and Christie have graced over 500. Cindy has graced the most with over 600. Naomi Campbell has graced over 400. Beverly Peele has graced over 250 covers.

That's a fine point. I'm gonna check on it. But girls of those days were lucky b/c Vogue before 1973 had so many issues, like 2-3 for a month! That's why girls like Lauren Hutton and a few others had so many Vogue covers. They had an advantage. Also it didn't hurt that Lisa was the wife of one of the greatest photographers, Irving Penn.

Can someone post Fernand's over 200 covers??! LOL. Here's some info on SUpermodel Lisa and Legendary Photographer Fernand:

FERNAND FONSSAGRIVES

Fernand Fonssagrives met his wife Lisa Bernstone at dance school in Paris. By 1936 Lisa’s career as a model escalated and she became the first recognizable ‘model’ working for Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar. Their unique partnership produced a memorable series of pictures, including Fernand's nude work of Lisa for which he is best known and most respected.

Eileen Ford said of Fonssagrives: "I wish for Xmas I could give one of Fernand's prints to every photographer who works with our models. If they lived with these pictures, they could learn how it should be done."

The period between 1936 and 1945 were the most productive and memorable, and Fonssagrives was one of Alexey Brodovitch’s star pupils at his famous Design Laboratory in New York.

BTW do you mean Lisa Fonssagrives-Penn? That's who I think has those covers. But the Supers were lucky too b/c they didn't just grace the covers of Vogue & Bazaar, they were way more popular and got to do other things(Cindy-Playboy,Naomi-Time,Iman-Newsweek,etc).
