Nylon November 2011 : Rachel Bilson by Marvin Scott Jarrett

another messy cover, but this one is still acceptable. She looks pretty actually

^Ok hold on for a second...I never knew Nylon looked like that :o Thanks a lot ellastica.

She looks pretty and the styling is trashy but it looks decent!

This cover will sell to the masses.

Nylon shoots are often likable, especially with lovely Rachel!

I'm so bored of this magazine, same look EVERY. SINGLE. MONTH. -- white backdrop, cover models in nearly identical poses, barfy 3 or 4 color combination text. So bad.

Back in the beginning NYLON used to be so cutting edge and really ahead of the curve on featuring all the upcoming people in the arts (rare for an American pub). Some time in 2005 or 2006 it really shifted to Young Hollywood. I kept a lot of the earlier issues because they are so amazing, but now...it's only occasionally that they impress.

Seeing NYLON cater to Young Hollywood really does make me sad, especially seeing the cover ellastica posted. :( I cannot wait until magazines understand that NO ONE cares about Young Hollywood. Give us art and fashion please.

love the white space in bare minimum; can't help be reminded of this early 90s david sims ed. shot by kutner to boot!

seems the editorial roster has changed since i last read NYLON. i think Laurie Trott used to style for the now defunct American ELLEgirl?

anyone have early 2000 NYLONs, even late 90s NYLON to share? someone should start a thread; that'd be so rad. i have quite a few 2002, 2003 copies somewhere i can scan once i'm moved & settled in.
