Of course it does make a difference. Just because people don't know how to pronounce her you can't change someone's name! First of all, the letter "Y" does not exist in Serbian, so her name is Olja. The spelling Olya has just been created for the western world so that people get a clue of how to pronounce her. Wouldn't you guys mind if people were spelling you in a wrong way? I certainly would because then it would not be my name!
