Orlando Bloom

A bikini-clad Jennifer Aniston and a shirtless Orlando Bloom enjoy the weekend together in Mexico.

When Orlando was on UK’s The Graham Norton Show awhile back, he inadvertently mentioned Angelina Jolie. Just by his expression and tone when he said her name, you could tell he not very fond of her. Team Aniston, as they say.

Orlando pretty much cemented that he sided with Jennifer by his visit to Mexico.

The lady in the black bikini is Orlando and Jennifer's manager Aleen Keshishian. I doubt they're on a romantic holiday with their manager but you never know these Hollywood people.

With Aniston? Mmmmm, everytime that he´s next to a girl it´s the kind of girl that doesn´t suit him at all. He´s probably gay. Or those girls suit him after all...LOL

Ugh Team Jolie all the way - Orlando what are you thinking?

AT any rate given that their mutual manager is sat there sunning herself with Jennifer I am thinking that it is more business than pleasure.

Jesus he looks so much hotter with short hair.
Boyfriend needs a tan though!

haha. yes, indeed he does, Belowen!

they'd make a nice publicity couple. though if i hear rumours that they're "dating", it'll really strengthen the "Orlando is gay" rumours ... that as of now are really considered just wishful thinking by the dudes.

According to MSN Orlando and Jennifer were attending the wedding of someone at their publicity company. A bunch of other celebrities were supposedly there as well. Jen and Orlando's rep confirmed this and denied it was anything romantic, just a mutual friend's wedding.

He´s great but he needs be a better actor because he is more known for his girlfriends than for his own films.

On the other hand, I miss his fashion style: quirky and cool at the same time.

Oh Orlando, Jennifer and you arer´t a good couple, I prefer...

he's really struggling at this particular point in his career. he's too big a name to not be a "Leading Man" ... but at the same time, he doesn't seem to possess that most important quality of all of Hollywood's biggest Leading Men --- the ability to play rough. look at Tom Cruise, Mel Gibson, Will Smith, Bruce Willis, Harrison Ford, Brad Pitt, Leo DiCaprio, Matt Damon, Hugh Jackman, Johnny Depp, Tom Hanks, Jude Law, Russel Crowe, even John Travolta, etc etc... they all exude enough "manliness" (at least on screen) to carry a movie on their own; to play the hero. some of Orlando's contemporaries (ie: Ryan Gosling, Heath Ledger) have these characteristics... but Orlando still seems to be trapped somewhere between a hottie college-age guy and an adult man. he doesn't have enough of that masculine quality to make the audience (thus, the studios) believe he can carry an entire film.

SO, my suggestion to him, were i to be his manager, would have been to:

1 - NEVER taken the role of Paris in "Troy". that character is the biggest p*ssy ever and i think that it has 100% damaged Orlando's career.

2 - that being in the past, now he has to find a role where he plays someone really rugged. a flick like Sean Penn's "Into The Wild" could have been perfect. get Orlando in touch with his rugged masculine nature, and away from the pretty-boy sh*t that is making teenage girls swoon but making men mock. find a role for him in a war movie, even a supporting role, a part where he's not the soldier that everyone loves and someone has to save ... but instead where he's the one doing the saving. he's the guy bearing the weight of the plot, the burden of the quest.

these are hard times for him, i think. and i'm sure that he and his agents realize it -- that's why we aren't hearing of any future projects. he's really trying to make the jump into proper Leading Man and it's an extremely fine balance he's going to have to walk along for the next few films, if he wants to come out the other side as a true movie star of the generation.

Um, he took Paris because he didn't want to play the heroic figure to show he had range and then after that he did Kingdom of Heaven which was a really tough, rugid character that was quite beefed up. I think he's known more for LOTR & POTC than who he's dating. It's just that he's single so any vagina he comes within 5ft of he MUST be boning.

As far as Tom Cruise & Mel Gibson, I hardly think they are people to idiolize. They don't act anymore. Tom Cruise in any movie plays Tom Cruise, he's not the character. Same with Mel and John Travolta. Russel Crowe is a good actor I'll give him that, though I'm not a fan of him personally.

And why are we so cavemanish that we need some big dumb*** that's running around calling us "sugar t*ts" for us to swoon. Personally I like a guy that's not "butch" and thus boring. Jake Gyllenhaal isn't that manly and he seems to be doing fine.

^^ I never understood people's criticism of his performance in Troy. They say things like he was so wimpy. THAT WAS THE POINT! The character Paris was a pretty boy, player, wimp who depended on his brother to get him out of trouble. You were not supposed to like the character. People WANT him to be a leading man but he's said over and over he just got out of drama school and is still learning. All of the guys he's mentioned with has either been in the business over 20 years or don't have the hype and attention he does. Your not paying attention to their mistakes the way you are to Orlando's because of his hype.

I agree that he should do a movie like Into The Wild. I really wanted to see him in that particular role and associated with a great talent like Sean Penn.

i wasn't critiquing his performance in Troy at all. i was simply stating that his decision to take the role was a mistake, imo. if you reread my post you'll see that i said, "that character is the biggest p*ssy ..." Orlando played him perfectly, but i don't think doing that role has helped casting directors put faith in him as a 'stand-alone' actor.

yes, most people know Orlando from POTC and LOTR, but in neither film was he the LEAD guy. (Johnny and Viggo). same with Troy (Brad). he set himself up brilliantly as a huge international star, but as i said he's in an awkward stage in his career.

disagree with me all you like, but only time will tell...

I think he can stand alone, it's just that the movies he's been the lead in haven't done well because they were too serious or, even though I liked e-town, just another romantic comedy.

I always pictured his career going along the lines of Leo Dicaprio.

yeah but Leo had the intensity in his performances immediately following Titanic. he was so smart to take on "The Beach". it may not have been a huge hit, but it has certainly since become a cult one. and his character was so intense and real. you felt very complex emotions toward him because his actions were very questionable. you understood him, though, in part. that style of acting, that "character with intense emotional conflict" is something that he proved he could tackle with "The Beach" and only 2 years after that he did "Gangs of New York" and we've seen the A-list, Leading Man trajectory his career has been on since then. if Martin Scorcese didn't see that quality of Leo's that he projected in "The Beach", i'd bet any money he wouldn't have cast him in "Gangs .."

THAT is the kind of role that Orlando needs to prove he can tackle. a one-man show where the conflict is internal and external. something like "The Beach" or Sean Penn's new flick, "Into the Wild".

Is it me or are they not together in the pics?

ALso, can you link me a video link to the Graham Norton interview thingy.
