i love the red accents amidst all the monochromatic neutrals...they're very nostalgic to me.

It's beautiful, traditional looking, whimsical all very delicately handled kind of Romanticised too....make me feel quite calm

i agree about the nostalgic air about them and i like it, as well as the red amidst the monochromatic .f mentioned.

what seriously bothers me though are the frames

there's something 'waiting room'ish about them and i don't know if that's the intention

The second one reminds me of the Wizard of Oz.

The middle two are creepy, it looks like their heads are turned almost Exorcist-like.

they're wonderful. kind of reminds me of portraits of victorian/edwardian children. the colour makes me a bit sad... but also a little happy and quiet
