In the US she got the typical sentence for someone on their 3rd strike, my cousin was in a similar situation but was only on her 2nd offense and she did the community serivce unlike Paris...and didn't continue to drive. If she drove again she was told she'd go to jail...

yeah, but here nobody gets it... if you're a celeb it's hard for you to get in trouble, law protects you anyways or at least you went 2 days in prison and after you'll be the guest in several tv shows!

Well....I may say that Paris is fake and things like that...but when it comes to serious things, like going to jail, Oh no, I feel really sad for her; because it's a difficult experince to go through. I woud try putting myself in her shoes (although it's difficult to be her) and think about it; it's not nice and I would'nt want to be talking nasty things about her NOW in difficult time like this. Maybe FAKE is her trade-mark...who knows....but I hope that she gets back out of jail being more careful about everything; learning a bit of a lesson to be more responsible, because everyone watches her she's a celebrity and all eyes are on her, that's why it's easy to catch things on celebrities. God be with her and bless her through these difficult times.

I feel sorry for her too but she shouldn't have broken her probation. I think they are being extra hard on her because she is Paris Hilton, they are trying to make an example out of her. I hope when she comes out she will have a new appreciation for the life she has.

well, the news is saying she had the warnings, was ordered to do community service and didn't, she signed a warning paper with a cop that stopped her in january that confirmed she acknowledged her license was suspended.
drinking and driving no matter how little, is a serious death trap. a couple of people very close to me were hit by and disfigured with scars by "someone who had just 1 drink".
the funny thing is that, she acts like she doesn't realize what a light weight she is and 1 drink can be a lot for some people.
