God, I used to be so obsessed with Paris back in 2004.. Scary to think I was only 12 years old!
I never even thought to look for a thread on her, but here I am.
I miss her and the old days to be honest.
When it really comes down to it, no matter how tacky or *fill in the blank* Paris is, you've got to admire her strength and "I don't give a f*ck" attitude. I'm excited to see what she has in store for her show.

Paris Hilton has landed a new reality show for the Oxygen Network and intends to show the world she's not a dizzy blonde, as she's been portrayed on previous shows. A source said, "This isn't 'The Simple Life,' where she played a campy version of herself. This show will give viewers a glimpse of the real Paris and her life, which is sometimes quite amazing." Cameras were not following Hilton during her August arrest in Las Vegas, but they could capture her carrying out the community service she was sentenced to for cocaine possession.

also, she didn't look orange in person. her skin tone looked natural.
stage lighting and camera lighting can make things look totally different.
