I remember her father saying he pays for the basics .e.g. House, car, house bills as in water and electrical, food, petrol, travel etc...

Oh, I didn't know that. I thought she was making enough on her own. According to Forbes she made 6.5 mil in 2005 http://www.forbes.com/lists/2005/53/U3HH.html

and I read that she got recetly paid 1 mil to do one public appearance for Bondi beer in Australia.

Also in the Hello Magazine interview where they featured her home Paris was quoted as saying : "It's cool to be able to buy what I want and not have to ask my family".

True, it totally wouldn't surprise me, nothing she does surprises me anymore. Her 'career' is based on the 'buzz' around her ....and of course her acting and singing

I don't agree at all. She left these things behind. They are the sole property of the new owner and they can do whatever they want with the items that they now own. I have no sympathy at all. The same thing would happen to me or you.
