Does anyone know what kind of braid that is on the left (her right)?

I have never done much with my hair and i can only do the regular braid in the back but i'd like to look online for lessons to braid the front of my hair like hers but i dont know what type of braid to look for lessons... is it french braid just done in the front? looks like it will be hard to do on myself...
