Patou S/S 2023 Paris

This show feels exactly like those empty shelves in the background—completely unnecessary. There are some cute and nice pieces but it really could have been a lookbook, at least they would have conveyed their message in a more direct way.

I love the first few collection of Patou.. very cute, girly and interesting
However I'm not feeling this new direction, from the skimpier silhouette, the logo hats, and Julia Fox as Patou muse?? .. but probably they are selling better with this direction?

i know it's nothing groundbreaking but i really love it and would wear all of it

I think we can now safely declare Henry's Patou to be a disappointing failure.

I wouldn't be surprised if he's out the door soon.

I dont mind it, its giving strong Parisian chic vibes. The expressions of the guests are frightening though

It’s not bad for what it is. Given the price point, they should be able to compete with Ami…But so many weird choices.

How about using that LVMH money to have a great cast: The Gigi, Adut, Bella, Vittoria instead of having Julia Fox in a Pucci look-a-like dress!

I like the pants, the boots and some dresses but the collection is not as cohesive as it could have been.

There is not more "Joy" at the new Patou. Even a lookbook would be too much to show this parade of emptiness with logos.
Looks like mail order catalogue material at best.

I really didn’t mind it. The garments themselves are not over designed which I appreciate, and while I felt Henry did not push or challenge himself enough this season, it is on-brand with the sporty side of the JP Maison and will most likely sell given its commercial appeal. See below for an example of one of the Maison’s Spring collections for reference.
