Patrick Wolf

I'm really sad for the Mika vs. Pat feud that is currently happening. I love them both (Mika more for the looks, Pat more for the music  ). Hopefully, they can work it out and collaborate! :woot:

i doubt it at this juncture. he was really aggravated during that whole tour with mika. i don't care much for mika and i thought patrick was so on the money when he explained his initial comments in his myspace bulletin...speaking passionately about his displeasure with not only mika, but all the grotesque mika's of pop music. saying things in regards to the constant machine of commercialism and also that many of them truely don't know how to make music.

Going to see him live or watching videos like The Libertine/Wind in the Wires is like cheating on your boyfriend.

Has anyone heard the remix he did for Mika's "Love Today" at arjanwrites.com? It's interesting!

^ Interesting, indeed :woot:! He really made it his own...

I read in an article on Pitchfork that Alec Empire (from ATR) was going to be a guest on his next album(s?). I know it's still too soon to be excited, but I can't wait.

Yeah!
And Alec & Patrick could be sooo amazing! I'm excited for that too! ^_^

Oh and in case you're wondering what might be his current hair colour,
he looked a bit like Le Petit Prince last time I saw him...

I love the colours in that editorial, but I seriously thought it was Nick Knight who shot these (before I knew who the photog. was)... Patrick's a real chameleon. He can even look great as plane.

Thanks for scanning, unipine. :)

Oh I love, love that song and video! He's a pure artist and genius! And I love blonde P-Wolfie.

I downloaded 'The Magic Position' album on a whim before going on a short holiday and it's amazing from start to finish  It's the most beautiful album i've heard by a male solo artist since 'Here be monsters' by Ed Harcourt. I especially love the use of violins (?) and piano..and how positive some of the lyrics are

Anyway i'm definitely going to get my hands on his other albums

I you liked The Magic Position for the piano and violin City Girl you should love his last album, Wind in the Wires even more - its a bit darker in mood but I simply adore it.
