Wolf Song is one that I especially like. It sounds a bit medieval at the beginning then progresses with electronic sounds and tah-da, the song doesn't seem dated at all!

Lycanthropy has this Oliver Twist thing which i love. Wind in the wires is more gypsy-ish..

Overture is such a beautiful song dior_couture. I'm suprised you don't like his other stuff since most of it is as rich in instruments as that song. Have you heard anything off Wind in the wires like 'The Libertine'?

how ambitious is the guy! taking control over his own work and working with this bandstocks organisation for public support to get his records out rather than working with the suits and the labels. love him for this. i wish more of our indies would take such a route. and since goldfrapp have been a bit dictated lately by mute,perhaps alison and will would love to do this.

looking forward to Battle though. the megamix with each song is amazing. and tilda swinton made an appearance on it too! one more reason to love it

^i know,heavy metal?? from what i heard from the preview he released of all the songs,battle itself sounds really brash in patrick's own way. and i can't wait to hear tilda's presence!!

i really do admire this guy for standing up for his own work. a lot of musicians wouldn't have the bollocks nor the intelligence to face these music execs sitting in their seats of power,ego and disgusting greed. patrick i can genuinely say has a lot of integrity. i can understand now why magic position was so poppy...

btw,patrick changed the album format release and decided to release the first recording under the new title "the bachelor" and will release a second some time toward the end of the year or next spring.
