Just finished reading Wonderful Today and was sad to get to the end as it was such a gripping read, she gave an interesting insight into the values of some of the men of the era, who were supposedly liberated but were still failing to outlive the values of their own parents from the 30s and 40s.

This editorial was from Vogue UK Nov 66 by Czember, whoever he is!

I like the direction her modelling took, she went from slightly geeky schoolgirl to quite ethereal in later Vogues.

Thanks! I have much more Pattie in older issues of Vogue which I'll share here as I scan them! I think she stopped modelling around 67, at George's behest, I think
I love her too, my favourite pictures of her, where I think she looks wildly different to any other shots, are those of her and George going to court, with the long, straight, side part and red lips - she looks so stunning there!

She also looks vastly different in photos when she was with Eric Clapton. I prefer the way she looked with George - the chubby cheeks and pouty lips. Her features changed quite a bit in just a few years from the late 60's to the early 70's.

Agreed! I like her later 60s work with Vogue but found she did go perhaps a little more, I don't want to say trashier but she lost her cute innocent look with Clapton, I guess it could be to do with all the drugs and alcohol they were consuming!!
