Taking design cues fron Margiela and McQueen, Sweeney presented a well-styled and pretty exciting collection. Midway he seemed poised to hit an original and creative stride which, from my vantage, never quite materialized. A bit of a letdown for me, the London off-schedule shows still close on a very high note in my opinion and this designer continues to hold plenty of promise.

the jacket and blouse in the third picture on the second row are exquisite.  the cape in the top row is gorgeous, too. there's some really beautiful stuff in there. I don't like the styling of this show, though... the gold face paint detracts from the clothes. :?

wow  i love the jewelery  - i agree w/ utopia- the gold paint is too distracting :|

you can see a lot of work in these clothes and for most of the time, i think it paid off. the first row in both plates in beautiful, the rest of it seems to be a little 'misplaced' though.

and personally i don't mind the golden faces, i think they're good for dramatic purposes, a little bit like the clothes...

i find the styling really disturbing and sad, I cannot say I'm thrilled with the collection, it has a sad element, i cannot explain what I see there, but it's not for me, not now at all :?

Too much fuss, it almost gave me a headache. :| I thought the design was too caught up w/itself and the gold paint was too much.

Thanks for the pics though. :D

aha those painted faces are hilarious, it looks so silly, cant stop.. laughing

the clothes are kind of dowdy, asian influence.. not my thing

Can we add Viktor & Rolf? Do you agree?

I liked overall how the collection was executed ... so homogeneous!
A LOT of designers could learn from this one!
The thing's I would wear only some of the pieces shown...
