Come to think of it. I think I have a blue and black buffalo check shirt from Dansk somewhere that I bought last winter. I think I got a 85 % discount on it or something.
I feel like wearing it tomorrow, if only I can find it.
I just got a pair of very cute Keds in black/white buffalo check!
I've loved plaid ever since I fell in love with a Badgley Mischka dress at Bloomingdales a a little over a year ago. Made me forget about the hideous kilt I had to wear in high school.
as soon as I saw this thread title I thought of that j crew jacket! I tried it on in store but my mum didn't want to shell out the $$$ for it at the time (yes I'm broke and still ask my mum to buy me clothes!). It was also slightly too big and they only had the smaller sizes left online. I still dream about that coat, it really does look and fit a dream! Lucky you Katie! It's gorg!
H&M has (had?) stuff like that, unless you're one of those people who completely hates H&M. I bought a sweater/hoodie sort of thing that was black with dark green plaid. I get compliments all the time, actually.
I see tons of people around here starting to wear flannel because of the movie "Juno". Kind of makes me laugh. But flannel, when worn properly, is totally fab. I need to get me some lol.
For those who are interested in buying the buffalo-check jacket by J Crew, it's still on sale AND available on the website. (See the link above). I want one too, but I'm not sure whether I should get a size 2 or 4. I'm in the UK and always find the US sizing rather confusing. For a fitted suit jacket, I think I'm a size 4 but the aforementioned buffalo-check jacket seems rather loosely-fitted, which makes me wonder whether I could downsize it and get a size 2 instead. Anyone who's familiar with US/UK clothes sizing and can help me a bit? I'm normally a UK size 8-10. Most online size conversion charts say this is translated to US 4-6, but it's so not true in reality. US size 6 is simply way too big!
