They're everywhere. Some I like, and some are just too clunky looking.

Gucci, Chloé, Miu Miu

The rest...I think not. I have e pair very similar to the Chloé-ones, only in green.

Absolutely hideous. They make me think of stripper shoes. In a bad way.

AGREED!! The first Chloe ones are gorgeous though. So many of the corky, studded ones just remind me of cheap shoes in Faith -not good. Of course perhaps it is because they are so high. Presumably the ones they'll sell will be lower. Miu Miu seem to be chanelling Chanel and Prada seem to be channelling Terry De Havilland. I love De Havilland so I won't complain.

Even though the last time they hit the mainstream has been quite a while ago... , I am still tired of them..... they scare me to death....

^ Prada did very nice platform pumps and boots last season

Oh, I adored those Prada platforms last season but failed to purchase them, and now they are gone forever...

...well technically it is not last season, it is the current season, and I believe the soho store still has some

ok. i can't help it. i love almost all of them and always will love platforms. but the chloe ones especially AND! the hermes, gucci, dolce&gabbana, prada, moshino ones.

 !

i am just grateful i didn't have any serious injuries in any of mine over the years. only 1 big fall down some stairs. then there was the night i tottered unknowingly yet unscathed through some knifenight in a club in my first pair of platforms... oh to be 16 again!

I have to say it's taken me a while to adjust to them, but I'm starting to like them. I love the forties/swing aesthetic and they go alongside this trend perfectly. in the past when platforms have been trendy, they've been done in a stripper or raver style, which is simply awful... I think the new platforms are more feminine, barbara stanwyck/betty grable inspired look, and they should be worn with demure, ladylike clothes such as pencil skirts, nipped in waists and lots of polish.

^ Yes I agree with you Utopia, although the past mainstream form of platforms have been ridiculously tacky, the new ones posted in this thread are a lot more flattering.... ...although I don't think I'll ever fall in love with them....

 the ones at Anna Sui. They aren't tacky looking... don't look like they're directly out of the 70's. The rest I could do without. I would look ridiculous wearing platforms, but a few of them are actually very cute.
