See, the thing is, I haven't seen too many women donning polka dots... I still consider it a classic pattern... I wear it minimally, but just love the look. :flower:

I saw a polka dot messenger bag at Target last night, actually... so freakin' adorable... but didn't purchase. :(

I hate polka dots, there too 80's for me.

See, to me, they're 60's... or 40's... I guess it depends how you wear them, on what, and where... a great polka dot halter screams everything BUT 80's.

I really agree. I have actually not seen too many people wearing polka dots, and those that I have seen pull it off to look retro and modern all at the same time and completely fierce! I recently bought a polka dot halter from www.honeyjeans.com, and I really love it. I bought this fuchia sash to tie around my waist as a belt at the same siote and I get complimented on it everywhere I go. The outfit reminds me of Carmen elecktra's polka dot outfit last month. I usually do not like what she wears but lately she's been looking really good - in my opinion. I posted pics with it.

It's amazing how good black and white stripes and polka dots look with red.

I have noticed a lot of Polka Dot dresses around the shops here in Athens. And now I see a few celebs wearing them as well. I think they are cute !
Also Keira Knightley wore some dresses with big black polka dots but I can't seem to find the magazine scans were I saw her.

only in small doses for me. I have two polka dot silk scarves, one red and one black, and I will wear them tied low on the forehead 20s style...the 20s thing is a bit of a counter to the preppy boat-club-ish way they're being pushed as a trend right now. I do love polka dots and they're very classic...it's inevitable to see classic things make the round as a trend every couple of years so it's not too surprising that they're everywhere at the moment.
