Live Streaming... The S/S 2025 Fashion Shows
I was shocked to find out in that documentary he was sexually abused by an older German couple as a kid.I'm in a Karl mood. This anecdote about him and Yves (lol) running into Balmain at Le Fiacre... And Karl pretending to be younger than he was while telling the story lol.

In an interview with WWD, Balanciaga creative director Nicholas Ghesquière revealed that his Spring/Summer 2011 collection, featuring mannish flat shoes, was partly a reaction to supermodels' worries over walking in painfully high heels.
Gisele Bundchen, who is rated the number one supermodel in the world, was so out of love with heels that she told the designer that she refused to wear his signature 4.5inch heels on the runway at the Paris show.
"The idea was to have this crazy casting with Gisele Bündchen and Amber Valletta and Carolyn Murphy, and they said no for high heels," the designer said, NY Magazinereports. "They were not used to walking with heels anymore. Gisele was worried; she would not walk with my heels."

Oooh, you're talking about this scene. This is a 'lil crazier than I remember... there could be an entire thread dedicated to psychoanalyzing Karl... (the entire segment in the documentary counts as a giant "totally random moment from fashion history", upon rewatching)Lagerfeld Confidential around 35 minutes in. His mother actually told him it was his fault because of what he was wearing. I'm surprised people never talk about it more often but I think it's mainly on Karl. He really brushed it off as if it was nothing just like his mother. She seemed quite emotionally abusive in that way and many others.
Love Sigrid Agren. So quintessentially French. Whatever happened to her?
The last story about Death in venice. LOL He was a demon even as a kidOooh, you're talking about this scene.
