Post a Totally Random Moment From Fashion History...

Thinking about random fashion references in songs. I literally can't read a reference to Halston or Gucci without the "Halston, Gucci, Fiorucci" line from "He's The Greatest Dancer" playing in my head.

In Spanish we have this gem: Azúcar moreno and the song "Divina de la muerte" ("deahtly divine") and the lyrics says:

Cartier jewelry
And Versace boots
Armani suit
Jet black
Fendi bag
Escada perfume
And in love with Cavalli

I swear by Louis Vuitton
That against depression
Burn your visa
Live fast
This is the solution

Like this cute little bop from 80's American girl-group sensation, Klymaxx?

"I know I was lookin' good.
I had my Kenneth Cole shoes on.
My Gianni Versace blue leather suit.
My nails were done, and my hair was fierce."

I had to leave my condo to come to this
Well, I'm back but this time I'm with my man
And these women are puttin' their hands all over his
Yamamoto Kansai sweater that I bought
I never noticed that before. Good answer! Good answer!
