Post a Totally Random Moment From Fashion History...

Maybe I didn't keep tabs on her. I just know she stopped in 2002, and did a huge trip around the world. But yes you're probably right.
is there a source for this? this sounds more like Daria…

Lol the models struggling to walk. This made me think of this particular moment.

That finale of that show (the Dior one, not Versace) was a f*cking mess. The models walked out of order and Kurkova tripped halfway through the finale, which wasn't even cut out of the final show cut. Then the models ended up having to weave through each other causing a traffic jam for the finale.

My exact thoughts, models were basically coming out from 2 directions in a very narrow runway and obviously there was going to be trouble. I also want to highlight the infamous Prada S/S 09 show where even pros like Stammy struggled. Just what was Miuccia thinking giving them socks lol. I read from a so called insider source that she gave them the socks last minute and that the models were unprepared. I have no idea if this is true, any insiders feel free to correct me.

On the topic of messy runways, we also have the consequences of Tisci presenting several collections for Givenchy on multi-directional mazes with numerous stairs:

Are you sure it was Karolina? I'm pretty sure she wasn't in this show.

I am not an insider and have never worn heels in my life, but I always thought you put socks to avoid slipping in the shoes. So I would say Miuccia's idea was ok.

But I remember seeing the fashion show before they edited all the falls, and the vast majority of the models had no stability at all.

If you ask me: extremely high heels combined with loose attachement to the ankles.

Still an iconic collection.

Being a Prada pizza, most probably it symbolizes the meaninglessness of life and the absurdity found in human existence, where the mortality of everything torments us, and at the same time it stands for our will to overcome that feeling of defeat through art, creating "things of beauty".
Like, for instance, a pizza.
She s probably wondering if she should sue the restaurant or on the orherwise launch à Prada Café with Triangular pizze.

The fabric looks a bit slippery tho? Socks always made me slip as well while wearing heels. Also I loved the heels sorry not sorry. :innocent:

So sloppy! It reminds of the finale of Galliano Spring 2006 which was almost unbearably slow and awkward -
